WEB DESIGNER, PHOTOGRAPHER AND COMPOSER | THE SMITHS: SOUND PORTRAITS

The Smiths, is an autobiographical interactive website created in 2018 that features my family in a series of sound portraits. When scrolling upon the images, segments of the photos are triggered, which allows users to play each face as though it were an instrument. The cumulative effect are four full compositions that last approximately one minute each. Each sound portrait is a visual and audio “fingerprint”, meant to infer information about my family’s personalities without relying on their overt physicality.
